Does this work?

This is another experiment!  I have heard that newspaper photographers had a saying which went... f8 and be there.  This is what I did, set the lens to f8 and close to infinity.  When I saw this family group I pressed the shutter and took a burst of four exposures as I kept walking.  No time to focus or even raise the camera to my eye.  

Its not sharp but I think it works, in the scene we have Mauds, Victoria Square and Old Railway Hotel signage all visible, so the image can be geographically placed and it shows a bit of village life.  The downside is that I had to crop the image and I don't like cropping!!
