Feeling Comfrey

Just got back from a shift a YorkGate, really hot in the open but very pleasant in my little summerhouse.
Really busy when l arrived, Adel Fete was on this afternoon at the Cricket Club so parking in the lay-by was out of the question (volunteers try and not park at YorkGate in high season  as parking spaces are at a premium).
Had to put the full sign up for a while but things were more manageable after the lunch period.

Too sunny to take decent photographs but l love this Kettle covered in verdigris  that was originally used to make Comfrey fertiliser for the kitchen garden, must ask if it’s still in use.
