Night Sky

Hot today and getting hotter - we have been hiding indoors most of the day and only came out to play around sun set :0)
I had a couple of rather dull blips already but sitting outside watching the stars come out gave me a good chance to play with the camera and the gorillapod...which was fun :0)

Still haven't managed to get a good shot of the stars, I seem to get dots that look a little like water spots instead of stars, must be doing something wrong

In other news, I saw a mouse (in my house!) and a very big spider which Mr Tex sucked up the vacuum. He then waved the vacuum nozzle at me until I screamed very loudly and got quite upset - No1 son frowned and said, "Mum, calm down it's only a spider!" ... HA! easy for him to say as I stood on the dining room chair.

And a funny one for my journal...this evening, as I was putting stuff in the dishwasher, No3 son stood behind me telling me a story as he wiped his hands and face on my tea shirt like I was a walking towel rack - the joys of motherhood LOL
