A fairly productive day again. Finished another book, got some creative conferencing done for Elephant Gun matters, even had a couple of nourishing pints of stout at the pub across the street from the library. It's strange being back here without Leah and without a rigorous schedule of activities. I have a lot more free time, it seems, yet I am not using it to explore Denver, easily my favorite city. I feel like I am on a business trip or something--it's quite odd. Work then home for dinner then bed.

This weekend my family is going to Vail, which will be cool--we've never really done a summer mountain family trip before. And in the winter, growing up here, my mom and my sister were never involved in the skiiing/snowboarding as I was. That will be a nice break from the books and desks and computers and chairs.

Anyhow, after getting back to my parents, my dad got home soon after. He went shopping for new shirts for the first time in many years. He bought five button-up, short sleeve collared shirts. All variants of blue.
