i want to make art i want to visit paris i want to sit in a geothermal hot springs i want to finish my doctorate i want to learn more languages other than my own i want to live without dust i want to tell time by the sun i want to play with a kitten i want to eat a pastry in montreal i want to get some eyeglasses i want to ride bicycles between mountaintops i want to grow tomatoes and cucumbers and lettuce and potatoes i want to feel healthy i want to grow a longer beard i want to run a half marathon i want to twirl silver dollars through my knuckles i want to juggle machetes i want to build something with my hands i want to smoke my own fish and cheese i want to brandish a knife at something living i want to swim in a clean river i want to polish antique silverware i want to read a seven part novel i want to write an eight part short story i want to knit some wool socks i want to dream about a green valley in the fog and a tent made from hides. and i want to do all of this with you. but for now let's just have some tea with the mint that we helped cultivate then kill then re-cultivate together.
