Lahti harbor

We had our second filed trip today to Lahti harbor. The weather was perfectly hot. We were 4 carers and 4 people in chairs. We walked around and some of us had ice cream. Only one of the residents can eat ice cream outside. One could eat ice cream, but only eats in his own studio in a certain place. (They can be so set to their ways.)

The residents clearly enjoyed this outing more than the petting zoo. Amazingly! Perhaps the smells (lake) and the gulls and people made lots to observe. But it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves so much.

When I came home, my husband made us lunch. What a treat! I was tired that we decided to go walk to Iitti, which is about 25 minute drive from us. We walked for over an hour. Quite a lot for Buddha, so we carried him quite a lot so he was able to come with us.

I'm so happy to have 2 days off now.
