Dinner At Gleneagles

A present from a dear friend of Pat’s for her last birthday.

We arranged to visit the Hotel Today. After a drive through the Perthshire countryside we arrived an hour or so. We spent some time exploring the hotel and talking with various members of the staff.

All were without exception very friendly and they talked about their role in the hotel and the pleasure they gained from working there.

Soon we found ourselves sitting at our table and ordering our meal.

Today’s photo is of a chandelier light in one of the cocktail bars.

At the conclusion of our meal we journeyed back home via a different route.

No sooner were we home, when I became  very unwell and spent a considerable time in the showeroom just sitting.

I am writing this on Saturday morning and am gradually recovering from my malady.

Suffice to say that I have never experienced this malady when I have eaten at other fine restaurants.

Pat was fine.
