Home again

The boy landed this morning. I was up at the window watching the plane as it tracked in at 6 am. I wasn't picking him up so it was a couple of hours before he was at the door. Good to see him, even if he did spend most of the day complaining about the cold. Even had to put the heating on. 

We sat and talked for ages in the morning and eventually I got the info about S who is joining him in 2 weeks. That will be interesting. 

He had a sleep in the afternoon and I pottered in the garden. I tried to sit outside but rain threatened but Amelia's roses are looking awful bonny. 

Read my book and later I even worked while #2 went off to watch football. I was still up when he got home about 11. 

Watched Newsnight for the first time for ages. Apparently 71 is the crossover point determining who you are likely to vote for. Well there are always exceptions, aren't there?
