Osborne

Home now after our short break on the Isle Of Wight.

We spent the morning at Osborne House, main blip. Thank you Gardeners' World again for our 2 for 1 card.  Glorious weather again.

Then we drove into Ryde for a quick mooch and some fish and chips before our return ferry from Fishbourne. We watched the hovercrafts come and go. I remember it was running way back in the 60's when we used to have regular family holidays to Southsea. We never went on it then as it was considered much too expensive for us. Looking at today's prices in comparison with the ferry it doesn't seem too bad really, considering it is such a quick and regular service.

It's great to be back home but I'm missing the super fast broadband in the hotel.
