A policemen’s lot

It was the afternoon of N’s choir concert, held in a church near to where they meet.Norman has been a member of this choir for very many years now and enjoys it very much. They rehearse one morning a week and it is quite a long drive but there is no way he would miss choir. Today’s programme consisted of well loved familiar songs, many from West End shows. I was tempted to sing along. For this number the bass section were sent out to the front to perform that old favourite, “A policaman’s Lot is not a happy one!”
