Walking On Sunshine And Shadows

We took the short drive back out to Bearsted Green today for a quick spot of lunch and then afterwards walked around a part of the village that we'd not ventured to before.
At last it almost felt like Summer today with the strong early afternoon sunshine casting rather magnificent shadows which proved particularly productive for today's shot.
This avenue of trees next to the village's church (I managed to resist continuing my churchyard series on this occasion) were demonstrating this point perfectly but it still needed something extra as an image and I was giving up hope until this slightly harassed looking mum with her little boy, who appeared to have lost enthusiasm for his scooter, and a somewhat disobedient dog (you can just make out its hind legs and curly tail on the right hand side of the frame) came on the scene and I knew I had my shot!
