Cool Cows

I had quite a kayaking expedition today but couldn't resist this shot of a herd of cows cooling off in the tidal lake at Barley Cove, thought I was in India for a moment!
My adventure today took me around Streek Head, the headland beyond Crookhaven, I realise that I usually kayak where I can see both sides of a bay or have an island on either side, this was different, a rugged coastline on my left and an an open sea on my right, Fastnet lighthouse was a speck in the distance! Even on a windless day like today there was a swell out there, it was good to pass the last cliffs and turn into the still waters of the harbour, I even found a small deserted sandy cove for a swim, bliss!
