Behind Bars

Between wall to wall football and incessant election debates, life is not offering this lady much  on the entertainment front. I tend to ignore the football but I am driven to shout at the television every time a politician fails to answer the question asked. I don’t think I have ever heard any of them give a direct answer. They prevaricate, answer a question they would have preferred to be asked or blame someone else for any shortfall in accountability. No wonder so many people have disconnected with the whole merry go round.

Meanwhile Friday has come around again and I have the  much appreciated TGIF drinks to look forward to, but not before I have had words with the Avocado plants , Princess, Pea and Piddles who are rebelling against my cutting their growth shoots in the hope of making them branch out. Princess acquiesced once but is reluctant to do so again whilst the other 2 haven’t a clue what is expected of them. 
I sometimes think I could  be certifiable although I might be saved when Wimbledon begins.
