Flower Friday: Runner Beans

The runner beans are looking good. They've had a bit more shelter from the rain and it shows. If I get a good crop, or even a small crop, of beans that's a bonus. I like the scarlet flowers.  

An early blip before a packed day. Today is my elder son's birthday. A big happy day to him. His is the last family June birthday - it's a month of celebration here. Our tradition is to have one big party for all the June babies. One of  these is my BiL so he and my sister will be here at the end of the day in preparation for Sunday's event. 

There is a bit of organising to do so off I go
