Hellebore

It’s mid winters day Solstice wise but gets colder for the next few months. I have hellebores, daisies, camellias and winter iris flowering at the moment. The whole place looks bedraggled as I have done so little maintenance this year. 

Today I did a small amount of cleaning and made vegetable soup for lunch. Also finished the back of my red jumper and had a short walk. The neighbour has added more height to one part of the dangerous dog’s yard so I hope it keeps her inside. Some dogs are very good climbers.
