Lamb Pie

Rosemary lamb pie with red wine gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli, carrot, and cabbage with leeks and snow peas.

This morning we went a short distance and moored in Llangollen. After exploring the town center, we had lunch at the Corn Mill (we returned here in the evening for a couple pints). The food and beers (ciders
for Dan) were all fantastic, and the setting was hard to beat. Other activities today included visiting Plas Newydd, hiking up to a ruined castle (Dinas Bran) with spectacular views of Llangollen and the surrounding countryside, and seeing where the canal begins as its fed from the river Dee at the Llangollen Falls.

Today we also sorted the linguistic puzzle of people since Liverpool asking us some variant of: "Are you alright?" Apparently this is a generic greeting in the UK and not a concerned inquiry into our welfare. The internet saved the day on this one, and beyond our confused looks, it seems we have been responding appropriately.
