Today was part 2 of my Fathers Day treats. Junior was working on Sunday so he took me out for lunch today. 

I had booked (online) a Nepalese place in Dunfermline but when we got there it was shut. Not an ideal start. We set off up the High Street hoping to find somewhere interesting before hunger forced us to settle for mediocrity. 

A Greek place* came to our rescue. We had a superb lunch. Dolma, followed by souvlaki and then baklava with our coffee. Only the retsina was missing - it is on their wine list but both of us were driving. 

We will be back. The sooner the better. 

As often happens when I am in company and eating good food, Blipping did not even cross my mind. So it is my choice of reading for this evening, both being books I bought yesterday. A wee change from my usual trip fiction. 

This evening's football avoidance event was a street food documentary. It really looks like my kind of place too.
