The build

The colleagues in the Talbot Rice Gallery have been delayed in undertaking the build for the outdoor part of the installation which is part of the major El Anatsui exhibition which is opening at the end of June. It seems that they will be installing the outdoor part (TSIATSIA—Searching for Connection (2013)) without disturbing the Palestinian memorial photos at the end of the Quad, which are just visible in this photograph (surrounding the War Memorial). I'm wondering where we are likely to be having our graduation photographs this year.... We usually use those steps.

A day with quite a few meetings, plus I confronted some correspondence that needed doing. We are trying to stretch a pint in order to fill a quart bottle right now. I was due to meet various people but all the arrangements fell apart at the last minute, so I was happy to run away and have a solo pizza at San Ciro again, and then pick up some beer for home consumption from Cornelius.

But at least the election is providing many laughs, not least the betting practices of a few Tories.
