White Park Cattle

H and I enjoyed a walk in warm sunshine on Holt Lowes this morning.  There were some dragon and damselflies around but they refused to settle.  There seemed to be a lack of butterflies anywhere.  The bramble blossom is only just beginning to flower, so maybe they are waiting for that before putting in an appearance.

I've photographed these White Park Cattle before.  They are very attractive and seem to enjoy munching on the gorse.

We also spotted the Round-Leaf Sundew plant.  It was quite small and rather difficult to photograph as it's surrounded by sphagnum moss and grass.  This one has had some tasty flies for lunch. See extra.
