Sodden Peony

I forgot to post this last night so it is another backblip but at least we had a dry day and I got the grass cut.

Recent heavy rain has played havoc with the garden and probably no more so than with the peonies. These large heads just soak up the rain and fortunately I just got this one staked up in  time. Some of these sudden short lasting thundery showers were quite dramatic .
