Spotted Hyena

We spent our last morning in the Scavenger Hide and were fortunate to arrive just before a couple of hyenas came in sight.  They were without a doubt, the spookiest animals I have ever seen, very twitchy, constantly looking over their shoulders and scraping the ground with with front and back paws.  It was very early and the light was poor so I was glad to even get this shot.  

Then came the 3 hour ride back to Durban, and flight back to Capetown. Traveling was uneventful.  We were so tired when we got back to the Table Bay Hotel that we grabbed a quick dinner in the lounge and hit the sack early.
