William and the Pollen

A short walk around the Botanics today. A beautiful day for it, and the place looked superb as always. It's full of beauty, joy, and memories, both happy & sad for us.

Nonetheless, this month's theme is macro, and this gorgeous red rose (a Royal William) took me eye. As I got closer in with the lens I could see it was literally groaning under the weight of the pollen.

This seems a reasonable banker for the month.
