Bright and Beautiful

Decisions

I'll admit that after receiving the news about my knee yesterday, and the lack of sleep last night together with feeling emotional this morning, made me want to just turn over and not bother with the day...

BUT I got up and out!

Greys Court National Trust where I have been many times before, is only 30 minutes or so from home.

As I passed through a very busy Henley on Thames around 9.45am though, I wondered if the regatta would be starting soon, but its not until July!

For the first time, I parked in a disabled space (you don't need a blue badge there) and I used two crutches whilst going round, and that has helped my knee a lot, as not weight bearing so much just now...

Armed with camera, water and apple, an easy walk around.  This is where I was so glad of the 'open out' part of my camera that I could angle to what I wanted to photograph :)

Usual stop at the cafe for a coffee and a cheese and ale scone :):)

Then I looked in the shop and booked the buggie to go back to the car park.  All the staff and volunteers were so very helpful, it was lovely :):)

Home and a phone call with Occupational Health for the police.  Again very helpful and they've passed me to start work.

So its just the main vetting forms now (still waiting my Dad to get back to me about further details before I can continue the form!!!)

Some more photos in extras.  I especially like the last one which is a sculpture of a woman's head, not unlike this one from back in 2018 at Greys Court :)

And its 4 years today I moved into my house :):)
