Wide Evening

Once again, this started with a capture of distressed paintwork on a harbourside boat (first 'extra').  Unfortunately, it lacked a focal point and since it looked like land and sky, I decided it needed a tree or trees to complete the composition.

My first thought was of my favourite trees situated about 10 miles away plus a short walk, but the weather kept throwing down heavy showers so I opted for my second favourite: the kissing trees, just 4 miles distant.  I sat in my car until a shower passed and then nipped out to grab some shots.  The reflections in the wet road made for an interesting possible blip (second 'extra').  A wide-angle view provided the trees that I needed to add to the paintwork and I have made that my blip for today.
