The Burrell.

We headed into Glasgow this morning to visit the Burrell Collection. We had tickets for the Degas exhibition- absolutely fantastic. So good to see so many Degas pieces that I hadn’t seen before.

It was great to see Sir William Burrell’s correspondence with various art galleries ( just like the correspondence I’ve been cataloguing for Swindon Museum and Art).

We then went to visit Dad. He was on quite good form.

Afterwords, an obligatory trip to buy some ice cream in my favourite gelateria, Colpi in Milngavie.
