Review

I took a different route home from the Estate today, so passed the lodge. It's a lovely building, but right next to a main road. Then I went into work, where I met with the asylum seeker who graduated from our MSc last year. It was good to hear updates on his life, particularly the fact that his case has been settled, and he can remain for the next five years. 

After lunch I had my annual review, which focused mainly on what percentage of contract would allow me to avoid the teaching duties that I don't like, and earn money externally for working on HiGHS.

After a couple of hours spent programming, I had a meeting with researcher J, and a chat with my oldest colleague K, before going home.
