Unexpected

Not at all the shot I thought I'd be bringing home from Lymington today, but when this bright little character burst out of the undergrowth inside one of the sea-walls, I just couldn't resist!  However I have added one cute little avocet chick in Extras, stalking around in - let's face it - rather yukky water, which is more typical of my shots from there.

It has been a pretty glorious day, a little chilly when I set out, but absolutely T-shirt weather, despite the breeze, and the kind of day where resisting a mint-choc-chip icecream seems a definite waste of effort!  Could do with any amount of this summer lark.
