Castlerigg standing stones

We had a lovely day. We started early , I drank tea on the balcony watching the clouds lifting and shifting over the mountains on a very still morning while my husband took an early walk up the hill behind. Lovely views. We then had the best table looking out into the garden where we saw rabbits and tiny bunnies munching grass and hopping about along with very successful worm catching blackbirds. Lovely. We the packed up and pottered our way north. We stopped in Keswick to buy a present for my gr nephew’s birthday and have a cofffee before visiting the standing stones at castlerigg what a stunning place with views for miles around. It was a glorious day and warm too. After that we drove north to my favourite place. Happy happy let the holiday comtinue. .
