Clematis on Yew

This is our clematis plant growing over the top of a yew tree. We brought the plant with us from England, and we didn't know what to do with this yew tree other than trim it, so my wife trained the clematis to grow over the top of it. We appear to have found at least one plant that the yew hasn't killed, and the clematis doesn't appear to have hurt the yew, which still grows like mad. In the spring we get a week or so of bright pink blossom which covers the top the tree. If I sit up properly in my desk chair I can just see it though one of the office windows.

Today's back blip was one of several pictures I've take on it this season, but the light was best on this day, working late means that on the other days it was a little dark and gloomy.
