Heart of Nature

I forgot to buy tomatoes for my salad yesterday, so had to pop out today for some, which made a good excuse to drop into Englemere Pond nature reserve for a quick walk and yet more practise with the new macro lens (something different tomorrow ... I promise!)

The ferns are now fully out over the woodland and heathland floor, but I found this one still in bud looking like a tiny heart.
