Dunbar

We had a slow start to our day, and after breakfast drove to North Berwick. As we got out of the car it started to spit. We walked down to the Seabird centre and got a relaxed coffee and toasted tea cakes. It was generally a slow relaxed…& eventually wet day. The rain was pretty heavy but the time we came out. We wandered up the high street and then back to the car. It was about lunchtime so we went to Tesco and did a bit of shopping then took it back to the flat.

We had soup for lunch, and then I dozed. Later we drove over to Dunbar and walked around the harbour and the Battery which has lots of history and has been restored.

Back to the flat for the evening and a Tesco curry which was nice. Still feeling tired, but an early night as we have train tickets for Edinburgh tomorrow and we need to be at the station by 8.35.

Hoping for drier weather for our day out!
