A dam damp dam ...

Another visit to the Dam Visitor Centre this morning - this time to meet fellow blipper Houseonahill6' and her husband who had spent the night in Pitlochry prior to heading further south. 

It is always nice to meet a fellow blipper and get to know the person behind the blips and today was no exception. It was lovely to chatting to them both over coffee  about blip, wildlife, places to visit and concerts.  We had a short stroll over the dam itself - leaping salmon were spotted along with a swallow.  

This afternoon was spent researching Kate Campbell Muirhead and writing up a blog about her life and works.  She is my 2nd cousin 2xremoved.  I saw two her paintings when we visited Dumfries and Galloway in 2019. 

I thought Perth and Kinross had one of her paintings in their collection but couldn't find it when I searched their database. I have emailed to to see if there is one (and if there is I will arrange to go and see it).
