I needed a lead from Currys so drove into Kendal and picked up a few groceries from the nearby Morrisons too. Not many because I’ve a Sainsbury’s order coming on Tuesday. Must defrost the freezer before then.

Decided to enjoy some afternoon sunshine in the garden instead of having a walk. Much more peaceful than mingling with tourists. I did pull a few weeds out.

There were some bees and hoverflies so I went inside for the camera. When I got back out the sun had disappeared and also the insects. Waited a while and they didn’t return so just took some photos of a flower on a hosta. It was looking less battered by yesterday’s rain than some other plants.
