Machu Picchu

A guest blip from Beck, the ‘classic’ view. I was still feeling pretty wobbly, so I unhappily skipped the Inca Trail day hike into Machu Picchu, via the Sun Gate, and stayed on the train to Agua Callientes instead, where I visited the pharmacy and got some rest whilst Beck hiked on heroically alone (well, with two guides and the rest of our party…) I emerged somewhat later from the hotel to get a cortado at the Boulangerie de Paris and to eventually meet the rest of the group, footsore but happy, off the bus and go for tea…
