Protected by the wall

A miserable day ..... not ideal conditions for taking photographs.
Unexpectedly, the gardening guys turned up this afternoon to work their magic ..... even in the pouring rain. After they had gone I was able to walk across the newly cut grass to take a photo of the Poppy without getting my feet too wet.
