Duck, Ben!

As in, that seagull is coming after your lunch, not as in I can't tell the difference between a seagull and a duck. If you see what I mean.

So you might be wondering why Ben is present to be in this picture...well, there was a burst mains water pipe nearby this morning so his school had no water, so he was sent home. Lucky Ben. Amelia's school, less than half a mile away was open, unlucky Amelia.

Ben and I went to town, bought some bits, sat on the beach and lapped up the sunshine. Later we are going to the dentist, then I suspect we will realise that we miss Marc who has gone to Liverpool to be with his mum. She is really unwell again and has been sent to Liverpool for major heart surgery, the second operation this year.

Oh, and I seem to have stopped sniffing....is the end in sight???
