Matching beard and hounds

A couple of weeks ago I was at the Hay Book Festival for a few days with a very dear friend. We’d never been there before, nor gone glamping but were complete converts to both. We had the best time imaginable! One of our favourite places in Hay itself was Richard Booth’s bookshop and one day we encountered this couple sitting on the shop window sill along with their beautiful dogs. Irish wolf hounds I believe, apparently very gentle dogs. The man sported a remarkable beard, the resemblance to his dogs couldn’t be ignored…
