For the family

By RonaMac

Quiet

Today’s outing was courtesy of the patient transport service to Ilkeston in Derbyshire. B was due day surgery and as the waiting list was breaching the target time at Derby Hospital, the  list was being done at a nearby community hospital.

It was very quiet, but had a super coffee shop run by volunteers, which I greatly appreciated whilst I waited.

The taxi driver who drove us home was very interesting and chatty. When they hear that you are new to the area they are keen to answer questions and tell you all about life as lived locally.

As soon as we got home we took the car into town to make an appointment to have B’s dressing changed at the GP practice on Tuesday.

I took Amber in to kennels before 9 am this morning and she will stay overnight.
