By a Dragons head

A productive morning was had today , 1st off a trip to the tip again to take the old single bed  for disposal just the mattress to go as that wouldn't fit in the car as well . I then went and dropped Julie off at the care home to visit her Mum . I then drop to near the Brayford pool in the centre of Lincoln and then  walked to the Brayford to go check out this years Dragon boat racing 
I managed to watch 2 races before going to pick Julie back up. This was the 1st race and as you can see it was a very close one this was at the halfway stage but it was still as close as this at the end the 2nd was another close one.
Once Julie was picked up it was home for me for some lunch and no plans to go out now till later as the rain is coming down rather heavy plus we have 2 super league matches to watch on TV.
I have just hoovered up the spare room as I had made a bit of a mess breaking the old bed in half to fit in the car and moved the wardrobe relaxing now as I say.

This evening we are going to the local pub to enjoy some live music from a local Skiffle band we try  to and see them when they play locally and also enjoy a few beers . I have posted some more pictures on Flickr for anyone who is interested
