Monarch Butterfly in Paloma Park

Not in the butterfly park. I was thrilled to capture this flying amongst the flowers, although I did have to wait for quite some time for it to settle.

I’d been to the market and bought a very Spanish looking bowl for the lounge and a birthday gift for a friend, the wandered down through the park in the hope of photographing butterflies on the way home.

It was somewhat hot, so I completed the last leg by bus, where I took the accidental photo, which I’ve posted in extras, because there’s something about it I find appealing :)
