For One Day Only.......

............does each little flower last! Very different from it's more blousy relative is this pretty little, self seeded and delicate Iceland Poppy. Never sure what colour will appear each day - there have been bright orange ones, nearly white ones, yellow ones and today this pink one! I scattered a few seeds 3 or 4 years ago and every year, new ones pop up. I think I shall let them all go to seed this year - they are so pretty!

Anni is due home on Thursday - shall be pleased to see her and hear about all her adventures in the USA - I probably wont get a word in edgeways!!

A dull hazy start to the day but with a promise a lot more sun later - Temperature just touching 61 deg. F. at the moment.
