Cherry Orchard

I went to a matinee of The Cherry Orchard at the Donmar Warehouse, V came up and joined me.  It is a play I particularly love and this production was challenging but engaging.   It was entirely modern dress without a set so if any sitting down needed doing it was on the floor.  Adeel Akhtar was a superb Lopakin with Nina Hoss as Ranyevskaya.   Rather good pics from the show filled up the foyer as in the blip. 

The morning was in the office with meetings.  

After the show V and I wandered over to Cafe Kitty where we had cocktails and I did emails until Manda and Stephen arrived and then we ate far too much and had too much fun before V and I realised 9.30 was in fact the last train home and had to run.  

We made it.
