Wound up in Wexford

Looking at their best this afternoon, despite (or maybe because of) a drenching during the morning.

We woke to rain and a lot of wind.  We drove up to Springmount Garden Centre near Gorey; we had spent a lot of money there less than two weeks ago.  On that occasion, W had enquired about Comfrey - he's been trying to buy some (either the plant or some seeds) and nowhere had it in stock.  Jenny at Springmount was incredibly helpful - said she had some in her own garden that was in need of lifting and dividing, and if/when she got round to it she would pass some on to us.  Two days ago, she messaged - did we still want some?

So we'd arranged to meet her there today and she passed us a good chunk.  And despite the wind and rain, and our attempt at restraint, we managed to spend a considerable sum of money in the Garden Centre again today!

By the time we got home, the weather was improving and my eye was caught by the raindrops glistening in the sun on the allium - though sadly that glistening hasn't come out in the photo.

This evening we've been to another concert at the Cathedral in Waterford, this time part of the organ festival.  Different to our usual choice of music, but enjoyable.
