Another Day, Another Harbour

Today it is the one at Lazise, a few miles down the coast from Garda. We hired bikes and cycled down the cycle path which runs right along the water’s edge as far as here, stopping first at Bardolino for a wander around the old town which is famous for the wine made in the local region.

Lazise’s claim to fame is its town walls which come right down to the waterfront.

It was extremely hot, though there was a cooling breeze while cycling, and several refreshment stops were required. We were pretty bushed again by the time we got back!
