Bee orchid with snail

This morning straight after breakfast  I started on cutting the hedge next to the paddock. It’s quite a job for me these days but I managed to get it trimmed and cleared up before lunch.
After lunch I went out with the secateurs and trimmed the bits I had missed off.
We decided to go to another cafe this afternoon it’s a couple of villages away and was recommended by a friend. It was great nice coffee and chocolate we had a danish each as well, they have a nice Spanish? Savoury menus so we will go back.
On the way home we stopped in a gate so I could see if there were any orchids and the first one had snail on top of it. I also found a few really good ones and took some pictures with my phone but they were out of focus. I will probably go back with the Canon.
We have a couple of little garden statues both have been knocked over and had their heads knocked off. One of Debs cats jumped on one of them pushed it over and the head came off again so I have re-stuck  it and it looks ok again
Bit of sun first thing but cloud has been building all day and rain forecast overnight
