Two for the price of one

After just over four hours sleep I needed to get outside to clear my head so asked JJ if he fancied going over to the country park for a walk, to which he agreed.  

It's lovely walking over the meadow as there are rarely many people about.  However, it was very breezy, making it very difficult to photograph insects.  There is one particular spot where there are lots of damselflies and demoiselles but the wind made it difficult.  I was really pleased to find this pair coupling in a quiet area surrounded by nettles.

This afternoon we settled down with a cup of tea to watch some tennis from Nottingham.  We saw most of a very good match before it was called off due to rain.

It's now quite chilly and I think I need the heating on.
