The Nursery

A quick trip up to the post office to buy stamps so I could send off a birthday card.  "Don't tell me the price please", but she did.  Gulp.  I think I might start buying more at frequent intervals for those cards that get sent later in the year.

Our son and his partner have been over this afternoon.  He's off work with depression and anxiety, which is no surprise.  Sadly he wasn't given any happy genes when he was born and I am not known for my patience. 

JJ baked a cake this morning and has just done my car tyres, so that's a positive.

Weather wise it started out chilly but the sun came out and it was a warm and balmy day.  We even sat out for afternoon tea after a walk with the dog.

The aphids are busy filling up their nurseries on the Scabious.
