Life is a Challenge!

ABSTRACT THURSDAY - SHAPES

As I wandered around the garden looking for shapes for today’s theme for Abstract Thursday, I found some long pieces of wood just near the garage.  Mr. HCB told me that they were off the top of the potting bench he made, which is usually in the greenhouse, but which he has now had to move so that the tomatoes can grow.  I was impressed, as they were all numbered, so that when it’s time for them to go back on, it will be easy job!

I was intrigued by the various shapes in the wood and there is even some pareidolia;  it seemed as if two eyes were looking at me - can you see them?

I have said it before, and it bears saying again, that once we start Blipping, we look at things in a very different way, and in fact, often see things that we would never even have stopped to look at before.  I’m sure many of you will agree with that.

I have a doctor’s appointment this afternoon when I am going to tell her that I do NOT want to be put on statins to lower my cholesterol, but as I am losing weight, hope that will help.  Unfortunately, I can’t have a blood test to check this for another six months, but hope that I can convince her that this is the way to go - for me anyway.

I am going to drive for the first time for quite a few weeks - I didn’t drive at all whilst we were away on holiday and haven’t driven since my eye surgery in May, but my doctor’s surgery is not that far away, so I am sure it will be fine.

Another dull and grey day - but Mr. HCB is still pottering around outside - and it’s also quite cold - where is that sun?  M xx
