Peace lily and shadow

I have two Peace Lily's and although they're luxuriant with lots of big shiny leaves they haven't flowered in years until...l read an article on Google.  Now (she says sounding like an advertisement) they have quite a few flowers.  I store banana skins in a big jar of water and feed it with this water once a week that's all.  Extra has one of the beautiful glossy leaves and couple of flowers hidden away.
I shall put this in for  Abstract Thursday although not quite sure how abstract it is.  Thanks for running this weekly theme Ingeborg
