New Street, Huddersfield

A 200+ mile round trip to West Yorkshire for a podiatry appointment, some time at the cemetery,  a catch up with my friend Steve at Starbucks and a stop off off in Huddersfield to see my old work colleagues (including Brendan who retires on Friday) and pay the deposit on this year's Christmas dinner.

The journey along the M62, M60, M6, M56 and A55 was relatively smooth both ways.

Watched the Sky News debate with the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Sir Kier Starmer. Following on from yesterday's revelation that he was denied Sky TV as a child, it was interesting to learn about Rishi's love of Twix Bars and Haribo confectionery.
